The Brown’s Mill Battlefield Historic Site opened to the public on July 27th, 2013 – almost 149 years to the day that Union soldiers, under General Edward M. McCook, were defeated by General Joseph Wheeler’s Confederate cavalry.

Owned by Coweta County, the 100 acre site is largely undeveloped but Phase I of the park includes walking trails with interpretive signs and a parade field for future re-enactments.

Parking/admission is free and the park is open 7 days a week.
