The Brown’s Mill Battlefield Historic Site opened to the public on July 27th, 2013 – almost 149 years to the day that Union soldiers, under General Edward M. McCook, were defeated by General Joseph Wheeler’s Confederate cavalry.

Owned by Coweta County, the 200-acre park is largely in its natural state, but does provide walking, hiking, and biking trails, with interpretive signs, and a parade field for Civil War re-enactments.

Parking / admission is free and the park is open 7 days a week.  Restroom facilities are on site.
